For yet another year, Green Dot was present at the 28th TUI Cyprus Marathon, which was successfully held in Paphos on the weekend of 07–08/03/2026.
The placement of PMD recycling bins along the race routes by Green Dot helped make this year’s marathon more environmentally friendly and facilitated the collection of plastic bottles that were provided to the thousands of runners.
With the valuable support of Green Dot’s partners in the Paphos district, we managed to collect and recycle 860 kg of plastic packaging and 140 kg of paper.
We would like to warmly thank the Marathon organizers, the Local Authorities, and of course the thousands of runners who supported our effort with respect for the environment.
We are looking forward to our next meeting at the 29th TUI Cyprus Marathon! 🌱🏃♂️
