Starting July 23, 2025, the community of Episkopi, which is part of the Kourion Municipality, will officially join Green Dot’s “Door-to-Door” recycling program.
The relevant agreement between Green Dot and the Municipality of Kourion provides for the weekly collection of recyclable household packaging waste – PMD and paper – every Wednesday afternoon.
The agreement was signed on Tuesday, May 14, 2025, by Green Dot’s Operation Manager, Mr. Savvas Kondos, and the Mayor of Kourion, Mr. Pantelis Georgiou.
Residents are requested to place recyclable PMD packaging in transparent bags and paper in brown bags. The bags should be placed the night before collection day in a visible spot in front of their residence or premises.
Glass will be collected separately through special green bell-shaped bins, which will be placed in easily accessible and central locations around the community.
