Hanging out with the Ocean Buddies of the new Stick & Win program by Alphamega Hypermarkets, we educated over 350 children through a fun journey of knowledge, love and respect for our seas and coastlines, as well as for the creatures inhabiting them.
Specifically, members of our organization’s staff, accompanied by the Ocean Buddies mascots from Alphamega, visited Kindergartens in Nicosia and informed the children about the importance of protecting the oceans and marine life through responsible waste management.
By combining learning and play, the educational visits focused on the value of recycling and proper separation of recyclable PMD (Plastic, Metal and Drink Cartons) and Paper packaging. At the end, the children had the opportunity to sing and dance along with their beloved Nino, the penguin and Rosie, the seahorse!
